Assistant Electrical Engineer jobs in Weston-super-Mare

You will assist with the successful delivery of building services from the through construction to commissioning and handover.

You will be able to successfully liaise with the client's team and their objectives across the full range of building services disciplines Degree qualified or HND in Building Services or related field

You will be accountable to the Team Manager for the construction, maintenance and repair of the underground and overhead network up to 66kV.

You must be able to work on your own initiative as part of a small team and be capable of making on the spot decisions as required.

You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical works on a reactive basis. Some testing and inspection as well as assisting with other tasks and engineers on site. Some of these sites are offices, retail, mod and schools, the ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of electrical works both planned and reactive, knowledge of Fire Alarms as well as statutory compliance testing.

You will need to have strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues, other departments, and statutory and voluntary agencies to provide an effective prevention focused service for homeless applicants, many of whom have multiple vulnerabilities and support needs.
