You will attend regular clinical and service development meetings, including MDTs, CPAs, referral discussions and hospital-wide forums, ensuring seamless collaborative working.

You will support vulnerable children and teenagers who have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will also assist them in developing essential skills such as emotional literacy, self-regulation, positive social interactions, and resilience.

You will be working at Thornford Park, and will provide the Ward Psychologist role across the male and female PICU's.

You will have experience and knowledge in carrying a designated caseload, including assessing service users with complex needs, and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatment within mental health care services.

You will support vulnerable children and teenagers who have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will also assist them in developing essential skills such as emotional literacy, self-regulation, positive social interactions, and resilience.

You will help create an environment where every child feels safe, supported and empowered to thrive — academically, socially and emotionally.
