You will identify and capitalise on every sales opportunity, inspiring your customers with the perfect solutions for their requirements. The Assistant Branch Manager will be an expert at building rapport quickly and creating trusted relationships to ensure that everything we do enables us to deliver on our promises to our customers and exceed expectations.

You will get the usual a laptop, a phone , full support to help you grow and access to jobs boards. We have cups, pens, desk pads and all of the other items for visits and you get fuel cards. We promote from within 1st and want you to be happy, so the tools for the job and commission are here and don't move.

You will play a key role in the growth of Selwood by helping to ensure the branch meets or better still, exceeds plan and objectives.

You will need to have a high focus on health and safety, actively seeking safer ways of working, promptly addressing any concerns over unsafe acts, ensuring compliance training is up to date, and working closely with the SHEQ team.

You will become familiar with a specific client portfolio, develop an understanding of client requirements, plus knowledge of the Bank's range of products (Corporate/Commercial/SME Banking) The role will provide support in Credit proposal processing, relationship facilitation, analysis/documentation and customer services.

You will be there to help inspire your colleagues to deliver the best customer experience in the business and help overcome any issues you come across.

You will have experience in running the show in a fast-paced customer facing environment and be someone who can handle the variety that each day at Wickes brings.
