You will be working with a small team of dedicated engineers in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive manufacturing environment. The team has a great mix of people, ranging from apprentices and graduates through to time served experienced engineers, all striving to deliver technical excellence across a number of different missile systems in development and production.
You will be involved with the assembly manufacturing facility with a key focus to ensure that the products are built efficiently. to this end, you will be carrying out activities including: - Compilation and update of Manufacturing Instructions. - Design, Commissioning, and proving of associated tooling.
You will deliver training and coaching to apprenticeship learners remotely, including both group sessions and one-to-one support. Your work will help learners complete their qualifications and develop their professional skills. Key Responsibilities:
You will have had success selling metal cutting tools, or be a time-served multi-skilled engineer with strong knowledge of correctly applying cutting tools. - You can advise optimum metal removal rates on Milling, Drilling, Grooving, Turning and Threading applications, reducing the customer's cost per part.
