Apprentice Engineer jobs in Scotland

You will develop digital engineering skills to complete on the job placements in a cross-section of branches, this will focus mainly on project work and systems modelling/integration. In your final years, you focus on a specific engineering discipline e.g. Aerodynamics, Systems Engineering, Support Engineering from several Air Engineering programmes.

You will work both inside and outside, sometimes in a dusty or confined environment. However, your health and safety are our number one priority and full protective clothing is provided. Your colleagues are also there to help and look out for you, as safety is everyones responsibility.

You will be responsible for managing finance documents and information for each client via Sage - Using online shared drives and client portals to update the database with information daily

You will have the chance to continue to develop through the company and progress within your role.

You will work towards your accredited qualifications, as well as gaining hands on practical experience all whilst becoming an invaluable member of the team.

Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice RPS is looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice for our Renewable Energy Infrastructure business based in Edinburgh . You will be given 1 day per week in which to focus on your studies. For the other 4 days you will be working in the business, applying your university learning in a real-life engineering environment. Upon completion of the programme you will move into a permanent role within Thales in Glasgow.

You must be able to travel to a designated college in your area, this can be up to an hour away.

You must live local/within commuting distance (30 miles) of the Branch location.

You will be working within world class facilities. During your apprenticeship, you may be working in an office or lab environment or a combination of both.

You will undertake a series of rotational placements within our Test Systems Group.

You must have (as a minimum) the following academic qualifications:

You will be an integral part of our experienced and welcoming Civils Team, working on a variety of significant development and road infrastructure projects.

You will gain a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree in conjunction with our Training Provider, Strathclyde University or Edinburgh Napier University (day release).

You will work under guidance from experienced team members, learn fault diagnosis and maintenance of state-of-the-art machinery. You will be given one day per week in which to focus on your studies.
