You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and deployment of Student Ambassadors and Mentors. Key relationships involve working closely with the UK Recruitment and Admissions Team , the Directorate Marketing, Recruitment & Engagement , the HR department , the Careers team, and academic colleagues.
You will directly line manage the Student Ambassadors.
You will be working with our state‐of‐the‐art laser systems which have wavelengths from the UV to the IR and pulse durations of femtosecond, picosecond and nanosecond as well as advanced motion control systems. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Contract Services and works in part of a highly motivated, busy and growing team of engineers and scientists.
You must have the right to work permanently in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary.
You will live in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford. During peak periods, some longer hours may be required and some working across multiple time zones due to the global nature of the programme.
You will learn how to assess and control risks, understand legal responsibilities, and investigate incidents. Step 2 – NEBOSH General CertificateBuild on your foundation with the NEBOSH General Certificate, the gold standard for health and safety professionals. This qualification covers workplace hazards, health and safety legislation, and how to design and implement effective safety systems.
You will also work with other teams to support their game development needs.
You will be responsible for the overall programme delivery including managing budgets, timing and milestones in adherence to the Prodrive programme gateway process.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build credible and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and harness excellent negotiation and conflict management skills to drive problem resolution.
You will be responsible for: Translating strategy into deliverable programmes by aligning multi-disciplinary teams, managing interdependencies and navigating complex constraints. Defining and maintaining a clear programme vision, roadmap, outcomes and success measures aligned to organisational strategy and portfolio priorities.
You will help to deliver robust cost plans, support procurement and tendering, administration of contracts, and ensuring strong cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with NHS Trust, science clients, and design teams.

You will oversee multiple workstreams spanning process redesign, systems optimisation, data and reporting enablement, and integration/automation, ensuring alignment, effective prioritisation, and timely execution.
You will lead on building systems for ensuring high quality data is collected and appropriately managed; oversee survey and intervention design processes; and oversee the building of effective field operations and management structures.
