You must be familiar with all the aspects of the product lifecycle, from development to mass production. In this role you will be responsible for actively driving and managing early engagement, the technology proposal and evaluation stage.
You will be the key technical advisor and system advocate working in conjunction with the engineering and account teams for a wide range of power applications.
You will ensure that all application changes are delivered efficiently, securely, and in line with business objectives—owning change management, delivery oversight, stakeholder engagement, and compliance.
You will report to the Group Head of IT Applications and work closely with teams across Business Applications, IT Project Management, Security, Engineering, Support, and third-party vendors.
You will develop and execute test plans to ensure quality, performance, and compliance, working closely with internal engineering teams, third-party developers, and specialist test houses. This is a remote-based role with regular travel to our warehouse in West Drayton (Middlesex) to carry out hands-on testing.
You will build and lead a world-class product engineering organization that consistently ships secure, reliable, and measurable business value. Establish a culture of craftsmanship and automation—driving high deployment frequency, low change failure rate, short lead time, and fast MTTR—while meeting regulatory obligations and ensuring operational resilience.
You will be responsible for building and enhancing SEQ based applications within the Palantir ecosystem, developing workflows, forms, and data models that reflect operational processes and user needs.
You will work alongside capable engineers and delivery specialists, contributing directly to the creation of data driven applications that support critical outcomes.
You will play a pivotal part in our British Gas' Service Promise!
You will be attending customers home to repair and maintain an array of white goods and appliances.
You will have plenty of support from our managers, mentors, and engineer colleagues but some of the jobs can be challenging and you will need a minimum of 2 years on the job experience to tackle most jobs.
