You will be able to engage the residents through praise, direction and calmness and have the ability to work with initiative, resourcefulness and passion in order to provide support as part of a motivated team. Ideally you will have experience in a support worker setting and hold, or are working towards, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, greeting and helping visitors in the home.
You will provide cover for the Home Administrator and assist the Home Manager, during periods of leave, including annual leave and other absences.
You will need to have, excellent people skills, a professional and approachable manner and the ability to work proactively as part of a busy team.
You will liaise with customers to understand project requirements, produce complex technical bids and proposals, scopes of work and communicate across multiple departments internally to assist in the completion of high level, bespoke projects for customers within defence, m&e, manufacturing, construction and more.
