You will be working as a SEND Learning Support Assistant supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across a well-respected specialist setting. Your role will involve working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, helping students access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally.
You will hold a Master's degree in relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
You will have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
You will have successful track record of teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds on HE programmes
You will have proven experience of providing individual and group study skills support in response to identified learning needs
You will help ensure: Accurate and timely documentation of system updates and issues. Improved user experience through efficient troubleshooting and clear communication. Strong collaboration across departments to ensure technology supports operational goals. Enhanced system security through diligent monitoring and adherence to best practices.
You will also assist the Extra Care Manager and Registered Manager in ensuring an empowering service which meets the needs of our clients and works with the service user’s families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere.
You must be flexible, energetic and reliable.
You will be required to work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, which will include evenings, weekends.
You will be responsible for the leadership and management of two supported living services, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
